Abstract

|
연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 상급종합병원 간호사의 COVID-19 스트레스, 사회적 책임과 소진을 파악하고, COVID-19 스트레스와 소진의 관계에서 사회적 책임의 매개효과를 확인하는 것이다.
연구방법: 연구 대상자는 서울시 소재 3개의 상급종합병원에서 근무하는 간호사로 온라인 설문지를 이용하여 자료수집을 시행하였으며, 최종적으로 193부의 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 25.0을 이용하여 기술통계, independent t-test, paired t-test, ANOVA, Pearson`s correlation analysis와 Hayes의 Process Macro Model 4의 매개분석을 시행하였다.
연구결과: 연구 대상자의 COVID-19 스트레스와 소진(r=.28, p<.001), COVID-19 스트레스와 사회적 책임(r=.22, p=.002)은 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 책임은 소진(r=-.31, p<.001)과 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 매개분석 결과 COVID-19 스트레스와 소진의 관계에서 사회적 책임은 매개효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다.
결론: 이상의 결과에서 COVID-19 스트레스, 사회적 책임과 소진은 세 변수 간 유의한 상관관계를 보였으며, COVID-19 스트레스와 소진의 관계에서 사회적 책임이 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 간호사의 소진을 감소시키기 위해, COVID-19 스트레스 요인을 중재하는 방안과 사회적 책임 가치를 함양시킬 수 있는 교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

Purpose: This study aimed to confirm the mediating effect of social responsibility on the relationship between nurses' stress and burnout from coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in tertiary general hospitals.
Methods: For this descriptive cross-sectional study, online survey data from 193 nurses in three tertiary general hospitals were analyzed. Data were collected from March 30 to April 4, 2021. The following statistical analysis were conducted: t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis, and Hayes Process Macro Model 4 (to test the mediating effect).
Results: COVID-19 stress was positively associated with burnout (r=.28, p<.001) and social responsibility (r=.22, p=.002). Social responsibility was negatively associated with burnout (r=-.31, p<.001). Furthermore, the mediation analysis indicated that social responsibility mediated the relationship between COVID-19 stress and burnout.
Conclusion: According to the results, the impact of COVID-19 stress on the burnout was mediated by social responsibility. Therefore, to prevent the burnout from COVID-19 of nurses, developing educational programs to enhance social responsibility are recommended.
